How to Set Up IPTV on Samsung Smart TV UK

Samsung Smart TVs run the Tizen OS and support IPTV through the Samsung App Store or via USB sideloading. This guide covers both methods.

What You Need

  • Samsung Smart TV (2016 or newer running Tizen OS)
  • Home broadband — 10 Mbps+ for HD, 25 Mbps+ for 4K
  • Flickhaven credentials (Server URL, Username, Password)
  • USB drive (for sideload method only)

Method 1: Install SS IPTV from Samsung App Store (Easiest)

1Press the Smart Hub button on your Samsung remote.
2Navigate to Apps and open the Samsung App Store.
3Search for 'SS IPTV' and install it.
4Open SS IPTV and go to Settings → Playlist.
5Select Add Playlist → Type: Xtream Codes.
6Enter your Flickhaven Server URL, Username, and Password.
7Tap Save — your channels will load automatically.

💡 SS IPTV is available directly in the Samsung App Store — no sideloading required.

Method 2: Developer Mode (IPTV Smarters Pro)

1On your Samsung TV, go to Smart Hub → Settings → App Settings.
2Enable Developer Mode and enter your PC's IP address.
3On your PC, install Samsung's Tizen Studio and deploy IPTV Smarters Pro to your TV.
4Open the app, select Xtream Codes API, and enter your Flickhaven credentials.
5Tap Login — all channels, VOD, and EPG will load.

💡 Developer mode is for advanced users. Most people should use Method 1 (SS IPTV) instead.

Troubleshooting Samsung TV IPTV

App not in Samsung Store

Try Method 2 (developer mode) or connect a Firestick to your Samsung TV's HDMI port instead.

Channels not loading

Check your Wi-Fi speed. Samsung Smart TVs perform best on a 5GHz Wi-Fi band or wired Ethernet.

Buffering on 4K channels

Enable 4K resolution in your TV settings and ensure your connection is 25 Mbps+.
