How to Install IPTV on Firestick UK

The Amazon Firestick is the most popular streaming device in the UK — and it's one of the best devices for IPTV. This guide covers two methods: TiviMate (recommended for the best experience) and IPTV Smarters Pro (free and easy to set up).

What You Need

  • ✓ Amazon Firestick (any generation) or Fire TV Cube
  • ✓ Active Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection (10 Mbps+ recommended)
  • ✓ Flickhaven IPTV credentials (Server URL, Username, Password)
  • ✓ 5 minutes of your time

Method 1: TiviMate on Firestick

Recommended

TiviMate is widely considered the best IPTV player for Firestick. It has a beautiful UK TV guide (EPG), smooth 4K playback, multi-screen support, and catch-up TV — everything a UK viewer needs.

Step 1: Enable Developer Options

  1. 1Press the Home button on your Firestick remote.
  2. 2Go to Settings (gear icon at the top).
  3. 3Select My Fire TV.
  4. 4Scroll down and tap Developer Options.
  5. 5Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
  6. 6Turn on ADB Debugging (optional, but recommended).

Step 2: Install the Downloader App

  1. 1Press the Home button and go to the Search bar (magnifying glass icon).
  2. 2Type 'Downloader' and select the app by AFTVnews.
  3. 3Click Download / Get and wait for it to install.
  4. 4Open Downloader and allow storage permissions when prompted.

Step 3: Download and Install TiviMate

  1. 1Open Downloader and enter the TiviMate APK URL in the address bar.
  2. 2Tap Go and wait for the download to complete.
  3. 3When prompted, tap Install.
  4. 4After installation, tap Open to launch TiviMate.

Step 4: Add Your Flickhaven Playlist

  1. 1In TiviMate, tap Add Playlist on the welcome screen.
  2. 2Select Xtream Codes API.
  3. 3Enter your Flickhaven Server URL in the URL field.
  4. 4Enter your Username and Password (from your WhatsApp activation message).
  5. 5Tap Add — TiviMate will load your full channel list, EPG, and VOD library.
  6. 6Use the TV Guide tab to browse UK channels including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and Premier League.

Method 2: IPTV Smarters Pro on Firestick (Free)

IPTV Smarters Pro is a free IPTV player that works great on Firestick. It's slightly simpler than TiviMate and a good option if you're setting up IPTV for the first time.

  1. 1Enable Developer Options (same as Method 1, Steps 1–6 above).
  2. 2Install the Downloader app from the Amazon App Store.
  3. 3Open Downloader and enter the IPTV Smarters Pro APK URL.
  4. 4Install the APK when the download completes.
  5. 5Open IPTV Smarters Pro and tap Add User.
  6. 6Select Login with Xtream Codes API.
  7. 7Enter your Flickhaven Server URL, Username, and Password.
  8. 8Tap Login — all 50,000+ channels and VOD titles will load automatically.

Firestick IPTV Troubleshooting

❓ App won't install

Make sure Apps from Unknown Sources is enabled in Developer Options.

❓ Wrong credentials error

Double-check your Server URL, Username, and Password. Copy-paste from your WhatsApp message to avoid typos.

❓ Channels not loading

Check your internet connection speed. You need 10 Mbps+ for HD and 25 Mbps+ for 4K.
